Psychology summer program for high school students The goal of our Psychology summer program major is to provide an insight into the human mind as well as to prep students for coursework they may see in undergraduate Psychology courses. This is a great introduction to undergraduate studies in Psychology at any University. Many students are fascinated by psychology courses and often take introductory classes during their university freshman and sophomore years. This will be a comprehensive overview of psychology including the history of the field, an overview of the different approaches to human behavior, and an exploration of current research. Our psychology summer program will focus on the classic theories that have changed our understanding of human nature.

Our fashion design summer camp students have the luxury of using first-class, university-level equipment in a professional and academic setting. Each student will have access to their own sewing machine, their own drafting table, and tons and tons of supplies. A Writer’s Workshop: This course offers an in-depth look into a diverse array of genres and writing forms. Students will be exposed to fiction (long-form, short stories, flash fiction), non-fiction (essays, memoir), poetry, and screenwriting. Each week is stylized based on the passions of the individual students, with a strong overall emphasis on the craft of writing and bringing pen to paper as much as possible. With a wide mix of exercises from an experienced and certified teacher, this course challenges students to think actively and create stories of their own.

Our vet camp rocks! This veterinary science summer camp class introduces students to the veterinary field, teaches them many skills in working with animals, and gives them a leg up on medical or life science courses they may take in the future. Students learn about the anatomy of large and small animals, animal handling, husbandry and basic medical care. They address real veterinary situations as well as gain an understanding of important topics in veterinary medicine ranging from ethics to management. We meet with professionals in the field, and we work with animals large and small. If you love animals, and think you might want a career in veterinary science, this course is for you!
