Summer Student Program: Farmington, CT

The Summer Student Program at the Farmington, CT campus offers a unique residential program and a range of activities across southern New England. The residential experience outside of the laboratory is a critical part of the Summer Student experience at JAX Genomic Medicine (JAX-GM). Students at the Farmington campus are housed locally in furnished apartments or college campus housing. The residential experience for summer students at our Farmington campus is truly a customized mix of greater New England culture and the beauty of the outdoors both near campus and throughout Connecticut. Students have many opportunities for offsite activities in West Hartford and the surrounding areas including Blue Back Square and beautiful Elizabeth Park. In addition to a joint-campus gathering that will take place in June (at Medomak Retreat Center in Washington, ME), residential staff and students will work together to plan day trips according to students' interests.
