In our 1-Week Online Film Camp for teens, students aged 14-17 receive an exciting introduction to the craft of storytelling through film. Staying true to our hands-on approach, as in all of the New York Film Academy filmmaking camps, students have the opportunity to write, direct, shoot and edit their own short project. ​Production exercises and projects are completed during a weekday evening, including the execution of the shooting plan and post-production​. The pace of this camp is feverish as each student completes a short film to be screened at the conclusion of the camp. No experience is required to attend.

Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe is an introductory survey of the universe, its formation and evolution, the nature and origins of stars and galaxies, the origins of solar systems including our own, and how humans have come to our current understanding by applying the process of science. You will develop an understanding of basic principles and methods used in astronomy and astrophysics to study the universe through observation, measurement, evaluation of data, and development and testing of scientific theories. This is an introductory course that does not assume a science and mathematics background.
