In this program, you'll learn first-hand about the biology and management of domestic animals.
During lectures, hands-on labs, and field trips to area farms and research centers, you'll explore the complex relationships between domestic animals and humans and consider local and global issues facing animal industries.
You'll also practice livestock handling techniques and research and debate an agricultural issue of interest.
To round out the program, you'll meet with members of the animal science faculty to learn about academic and career options in this field.
