Summer Academy

Welcome to a summer of mission-filled purpose — where academic focus and outdoor adventure combine for lasting impact. At Missouri Military Academy’s Summer Academy, middle and high schoolers don’t just study — they grow through a balance of mental and physical challenge. Guided by MMA faculty, students are encouraged to achieve at their highest potential in the classroom while developing confidence, discipline, and focus through daily structure and physical activity. This residential (overnight) summer academic camp combines engaging academics with purposeful recreation and outdoor challenges and games, creating a fun, motivating environment that builds both character and skill. In the classroom, students strengthen reading, writing, and study habits through pre-college courses, credit recovery, and enrichment classes designed to spark curiosity and critical thinking. Each evening, a guided study hall led by an MMA teacher provides additional structure and support — a time for students to focus, ask questions, and get help when needed. Outside the classroom, learning continues through teamwork, fitness, and leadership activities that reinforce resilience, responsibility, and confidence.
