| Art for the People: Inspired by the art of Keith Haring. We are bringing art on the street to our classroom today! We will learn to create our own dancing characters and iconic symbols from Keith Haring, one of the most famous street artists of all time. |
| Cut and Paste: Inspired by the art of Hannah Hòˆch. It’s all about cutting, tearing, arranging, and gluing photos! In this class, kids will create their own photomontages to express their ideas about the relationships between nature and industry. |
| Magic Self-Portraits: Inspired by the art of Frida Kahlo. This Mexican artist created over 100 self-portraits that expressed her reality, struggles and ideals. In this class, kids will create their own self-portraits in the style of magic realism to express their inner selves. |
| Story Quilts: Inspired by the art of Faith Ringgold. Let’s fly into the dreams of this African American artist! She created story quilts about her dreams and the civil-rights movement. In this class, children create their own story quilt design. |
