Esports ROAR

The Saint Louis Science Center is excited to showcase its first competitive gaming team, the Saint Louis Science Center ROAR! If you enjoy playing Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, or Mario Kart competitively, then this team is for you! Our ROAR team will play against gamers from local and national YMCA partners. Participants will be provided with in person esports education and practice on Mondays each week. All competition will take place virtually on Tuesday through Friday from home once a week. Science Center staff will be onsite and available for troubleshooting during competition days. Competitors must have their own equipment, a reliable internet connection, and updated versions of the game. Games offered include: Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, and Mario Kart. Do you want to compete on the team without the in-person requirement on Mondays? ROAR Virtual has all of the benefits of the full ROAR participants, but you do would not have access to the Monday’s onsite practice or education.
