Theatre and Dance Camp

Campers interested in the Theatre & Dance arts are invited to experience a week packed with theatre and dance activities including production rehearsals, daily workshops in acting, dance, and design, theatre games and improvisation. Classes are taught by UCM faculty, alumni, and select students. Every camper will receive specialized coaching to help them reach their theatrical goals and to exercise the aspect of theatre that most interests them. The University of Central Missouri is thrilled to welcome campers to Warrensburg for an intensive week of artistic exploration, friend-making, and all-around fun! Students will register for the camp using the single registration form (link below). While the majority of their daily activities will be with campers in their selected area, they will have an optional opportunity to select a class from a camp outside their primary interest. Campers will reside in one of UCM’s air-conditioned dormitories, share meals, and take classes taught by UCM faculty and guest artists on the Warrensburg campus. University students will serve as camp counselors Concerts and exhibitions will be open to all campers, parents and friends.
