Campers will begin their journey with a couple of nights at Camp Torqua, where they'll learn essential outdoor skills that every adventurer needs. From completing badge work and mastering backpack packing to trip planning and prepping meals, campers will gain the knowledge and confidence needed for any outdoor excursion. After honing their skills, campers will put them to the test with an overnight canoe adventure. They'll paddle their way to a beautiful park, set up camp, and sleep under the stars in a scenic campground. This trip offers a unique opportunity to explore a stunning area of the country close to Camp Torqua, perfect for those eager to experience the great outdoors in a new and exciting way. After their overnight adventure on the water, campers will return to Camp Torqua for their last night, where they can enjoy our classic camp activities and relax in cozy cabins. Whether navigating the waters in a canoe, setting up camp, or soaking in the beauty of nature, Trail Adventures Camp provides the perfect mix of learning, adventure, and fun. This camp is ideal for older, experienced Girl Scouts looking to challenge themselves and create unforgettable memories in the great outdoors. **Important Information: There will be a mandatory Parent and Camper Virtual Meeting for this Overnight Camp on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at 6:00 PM to discuss packing requirements and what to expect for an overnight camp experience.
