Whitfield Scholars: Animation: Digital

Artists will dive into the world of digital creativity by exploring tools and programs with Whitfield teacher, Cara Foster, to create their own animated shorts. From storyboarding and production to post-processing, participants will learn how to use digital mediums to bring their unique ideas to life in a fun and collaborative environment. Drawings and images come to life and tell stories in this workshop. Led by Whitfield teacher, Cara Foster, traditional methods of storyboarding will be introduced as well as simple animation techniques will be explored as ways to make drawings "move". Looking at several examples of animation, students will be encouraged to display their own individual work and potentially collaborate on a group animation project.
