NEW camp program for deaf and hard of hearing teenagers! Morning programming offers opportunitites to connect with peers, engage in leadership and teambuilding activities, and interact with deaf and hard of hearing adults -- learn about college life and explore careers. In the afternoon, teenagers join CID campers ages 6-12, acting as buddies and role models. Join field trips, participate in fun thematic activities, and design/lead team-building activities for CID students.
CID offers a four-week Extended School Year (ESY) program for children who are deaf and hard of hearing ages 2 to 12. ESY features morning speech, language and academic instruction for all students. For students ages 5-12, ESY also provides an afternoon of engaging field trips. The day is filled with lots of listening, language and learning opportunitites. CID also offers a summer enrichment program for children who are deaf and hard of hearing in a general education setting with minimal supports. The enrichment program has 3 sessions. Three sessions are for students ages 6-12 and one session is for teenagers ages 13-17.
