Animals are all around us, from our pets to wild species in the St. Louis area. Campers will explore why some animals are considered invasive, endangered, at-risk, and what people can do to be advocates for creatures in their neighborhoods and around the world. Both wild and domestic species will be discussed with special attention on native wildlife. Explorer and Voyager field trips may include visits to the World Bird Sanctuary, Lone Elk Park, or Longmeadow Rescue Ranch.
