Youth Advocacy Leaders

Camp LEAD is more than just a summer camp; it's a transformative experience designed to awaken the changemakers in every student. Camp LEAD creates an immersive educational enviroment that fosters social and emotional learning, commuity building, and leadership development to recognize and challenge inequity and injustice. This summer we're offering four different one-week day camp sessions (Monday- Friday), each with a unique theme deisgned to empower youth in Greater St. Louis to become advocates for possitive change in their commuities, inlcuding Writing for Change, Enviornmental Justice, Advocacy & Leadership, and Activism through Art: visual art. Campers can participate in any and all of these sessions! Camp sessions take place Monday- Friday, 9-3pm with beforecare (8-9am) and aftercare (3-5pm) available. Camp LEAD is open to current 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are eager to make a possitve impact in their commuities. After submitting an application, campers and their families will be contacted within a few days with next steps. Campers and families are required to attend an info session to learn more about Camp LEAD and review expectations. We believe in making Camp LEAD accessible to everyone, which is why we offer a sliding fee scale based on family income. The fee starts as low as $50 and goes up to $350, depending on what each family can afford. A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to secure your child's spot, with the balance due before the camp session begins.
