You will participate in hands-on learning in a variety of campus-based labs and clinics in addition to learning about the diversity of health, human performance, and wellness professions and the foundations of effective interprofessional healthcare teams.

Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe is an introductory survey of the universe, its formation and evolution, the nature and origins of stars and galaxies, the origins of solar systems including our own, and how humans have come to our current understanding by applying the process of science. You will develop an understanding of basic principles and methods used in astronomy and astrophysics to study the universe through observation, measurement, evaluation of data, and development and testing of scientific theories. This is an introductory course that does not assume a science and mathematics background.

The Biomedical Research Academy introduces the experimental basis of cellular, molecular, and genetic aspects of biology, focusing on relevance to diseases. Fusing daily lectures, faculty research talks, laboratory experiments, and small group investigations into current research topics, students gain insight into the core of biomedical research. Imagine working together with your new friends as altitude trackers, launch preparers, and launchers. Every day, you'll watch in awe as we send a rocket soaring high into the sky.

Great for children entering 2nd - 5th grade. Children entering K-1st grade will enjoy it as well with a little more help from fellow campers or instructors.

Note: Our camp includes everything your child needs during the camp. However, if you wish to continue your child’s interest in rocket launches at home, you will need to purchase a launch kit online or from a store.

If you are a high school girl with an interest in science, math, and engineering and want to build your technical skills, Rose Power is a perfect fit. You’ll work in Rose-Hulman’s innovation centers under the guidance of our faculty and students. By the end of the week, there won’t be a tool or machine you haven’t conquered.
