Join Rossman’s Mr. Crossland and Ms. Hutchinson for a culinary adventure! After touring the Rossman kitchen, campers will learn how to be safe and organized as they set out to prepare tasty foods. Campers will enjoy making healthy snacks, decorating cookies, and even making homemade pizzas.

Saint Louis University’s Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp is a week-long program engaging campers in gardening, cooking and nutrition activities. Campers prepare a variety of meals and work with professional chefs, registered dietitians, and master gardeners to learn principles of good nutrition, gardening and a healthy lifestyle. Six of the camps are designed for children entering 2nd-6th grades with a special Teen’s Only Week (June 24-28) and an exciting Junior-Chef Week for children entering Kindergarten-3rd grade (July 8-12).

Come and spend some time outdoors with New City teachers, Tommi and Marti Jo. We will spend most of our day outside exploring the grounds at New City School. We will play games, go on scavenger hunts, and learn about birds, plants, insects, and trees. There will be time for art exploration, music and movement, stories, as well as learning to be good friends and stewards of the earth. Let the wonder, curiosity, and creativity surrounding Nature begin! Campers can attend one or both weeks of this exciting Specialty Camp.

Become a drone pilot in this awesome camp! Learn how to fly a DWI Quad Rotor Drone, design creative courses to race each other. Learn about the many uses of drones, practice working together to accomplish flight-based tasks and more! This camp is half drone racing and half active, movement based games.

Bake and decorate mini cakes while learning flavors, frostings, and techniques.  We will use various decorating styles including fondant, and icing techniques to decorate your own creations.  Each day we will decorate a different mini cake.

Is it breakfast or lunch? Create delicious creative combos to make both breakfast and lunch recipes. Breakfast and lunch will never be boring again!

Students will be cooking with nature in this 5-day camp. Learn about the plants we have in our gardens, how to grow them and use them to make delicious dishes. We will explore our native Missouri plants and learn about their medicinal uses, hunt for wild edibles and learn about chickens. Only hungry kids need apply!
