This week-long program is designed to begin with basic concepts and conclude with several architectural design projects. These projects allow the students to display the information they have learned throughout the week. This is a highly intensive and exciting workshop where students receive vast amounts of hands-on experience. While working each day in the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture studios, students engage and learn from the university’s highly-qualified professors with the opportunity for individual guidance as well.

Auburn University's Industrial Design Camp offers an engaging program for rising 9th - 12th grade students interested in a professional career in Industrial Design. Hosted by the College of Architecture, Design, and Construction's School of Industrial and Graphic Design, this week-long resident camp offers an intensive design experience beginning with the identification of a design problem and rapidly progressing through idea generation, concept development, and exploratory prototyping.

Campers will learn about veterinary medicine first-hand in classrooms, laboratories, and outdoor facilities that include Auburn’s raptor, equine, dairy, and beef. Campers will learn about public health, farm animals, exotics & wildlife, companion animals, anatomy, physiology, surgery prep skills, and research, as well as gain valuable mentoring about careers in the veterinary sciences.

Design and Construction Discovery Camp (DCDC) is hosted by the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) and will expose participants to the majors in the CADC and the career possibilities that follow a degree from the CADC. The camp is open to all students with a focus on students from underrepresented geographic locations and backgrounds.

Come explore the possibilities within Auburn University’s engineering program, including the Paper and Bioresource Engineering Specialization. The specialization, and Pulp & Paper Scholarship, is open to students who are majoring in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biosystems engineering, and industrial systems engineering. The pulp and paper industry is rapidly growing, creating a increasing demand for highly skilled professionals. Auburn’s Paper and Bioresource Engineering Specialization is uniquely set up to pave one’s way into this sought-after industry. The Harrison School of Pharmacy, in partnership with Auburn Youth Programs, invites you to join us for Pharmacy Camp. This unique opportunity is for rising high school 11th and 12th grade students as well as rising college freshmen who are interested in pharmacy. This hands-on experience will allow campers to explore the profession through various learning experiences such as skills and compounding labs, while also exposing you to the various career options through visits to local pharmacies and healthcare facilities. Our campers will also have the opportunity to learn from and with upcoming practitioners. The camp is led by rising second- and third-year pharmacy students and facilitated by pharmacy faculty. Our goal is to familiarize students with the pharmacy profession and the many opportunities available in this field!

The Minority Introduction to Engineering program (MITE) is a week-long residential summer program that allows underrepresented students the opportunity to be exposed to engineering design processes that are used to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges. While working on their collaborative engineering project, participants will develop presentation skills. Participants will explore and be exposed to engineering through hands-on activities led by faculty and administrators. MITE participants will learn more about careers in engineering and the overall impact that one can have in this field.

The Business Institute is a summer experience at Wake Forest University that allows students to develop practical skills and the ability to think critically while gaining valuable exposure to important business topics and methods of analysis. Students will be exposed to the essential aspects of business needed to launch and run a company, including finance, human resources, management, marketing, technology, and operations. In addition to working alongside experienced faculty and collaborating in teams, this institute ends with a team presentation, in which students pitch ideas showcasing the knowledge they gained throughout the week.

The Filmmaking Institute is a week-long program designed for high school students to gain an understanding of visual storytelling and the fundamentals of film production. Students will learn about various film forms, including documentary filmmaking and narrative storytelling. Students will create two short films by the end of the week.
