Back by popular demand, the Foundry Art Centre Art Club is an opportunity for kids to explore, invent, experiment and CREATE! Students will explore various art forms from painting to drawing to sculpture and more. This drop-in art club is for ages 7-11 and will meet on various Thursdays from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. This week, we’re serving up a menu of creativity! Campers will explore the delicious world of food as inspiration for their art, from colorful fruit still life to funky food collages. Using a variety of materials and techniques, we’ll create artwork that looks almost good enough to eat (but we’ll save the real snacks for break time!). Get ready for a flavorful week where imagination is the main ingredient!

Create a polar bear-themed painting through guided instruction at this special homeschool paint party for all ages!

These project-based lessons are designed to teach students about the principles of art. They will participate in a variety of projects using different media like mixed media, sculpture, drawing, and painting. Students will begin a basic understanding of the elements and principles of art seen in both their own art and others’ including many famous artists in history. This is a very fun and active class for eager kids!

Olive Explorers are sessions for little ones to explore new topics and activities. Session include story time, a craft, and playtime. For children aged 2 years and above. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and play. If dropping off, and no membership, adult must purchase a day use pass.

Clay Together invites little hands and their grown-up sidekicks to spin, shape, and create together! Designed for children ages 3 & up and their parent or caregiver, this playful pottery wheel class offers a fun introduction to clay, creativity, and collaboration. No experience needed, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get a little muddy! Pairs will complete 1 piece to fire. You pick your colors, and Christine Tavares will glaze it for you. Pottery is usually ready for pick-up in 2 weeks but sometimes it takes a little longer. (This is a one-day class). When registering, only one name is needed to secure a spot for you + one. We’ll shape, sculpt, and decorate our creations, learning fun techniques along the way. Whether it’s a whimsical creature, a functional piece, or an abstract design, every project will be one-of-a-kind. By the end of the week, campers will have a collection of clay masterpieces to treasure for years to come!
