The YMCA & Edwardsville Arts Center have partnered for many summers to offer fine art classes. We focus on creating, but also engage in gallery visits, building habits & art discussions.

Glam Camps at Sweet & Sassy are the perfect way for kids to stay entertained, engaged, and learn during summer! Our camps provide an exciting opportunity for friend groups, families, and classmates to explore their creativity with a variety of fun activities, such as manicures, pedicures, facials, make-up application and hairstyling. Kids will have lots of fun transforming their look while learning important social skills like communication, collaboration, problem solving and empathy in a safe environment. If this sounds like a great way to spend summer, then you’ve come to the right place!

Take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning about the ocean, the rainforest, Mars, a futuristic city, and more! Use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems in these different environments. Experiment with Crayola® products and many art techniques like sculpting, storyboarding, collage, and mixed media. Discover design careers like graphic design, universal design, urban design, and product design. All this, plus games, creative free play, and more!
