Our ARt-of-DIY Summer Camps give kids a hands-on, do-it-yourself experience! Over 5 days, daily sessions will allow students time to laern basic DIY skills and gain an understanding of the materials and techniques used at AR Workshop and beyond!

This new camp is 8 days of learning about and creating ceramic artwork with other girls in the fun environment of a high school art studio. Create your own cups and bowls using the potter’s wheel and a variety of hand-building techniques. We will go through all the processes of creating ceramic art: planning, construction, drying time, firing in the kiln, and finally glazing to complete your masterpieces.

If you like to Think, Imagine, Explore, and Create, this class is for you! Students will learn about famous artists – Picasso, Van Gogh, Warhol, Nevelson, Goldsworthy, and many more – as they paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, and assemble materials to create their own masterpiece!

Take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning about the ocean, Mars and a futuristic city, and more! Use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems in these different environments. Experiment with Crayola® products and many art techniques like sculpting, collage, and mixed media. Discover design careers like graphic design, fashion design, urban design, and product design. All this, plus games, creative free play, and more

Join us for a week of guided drawing, crafts, and painting. We will spend time each day learning how to draw and paint something new! Then we will have time to make a craft that you can take home at the end of the week. We will always have some free crafting time at the end of each day! We can’t wait to see what you artists come up with and how much you grow throughout the week.

Spend the week listening to different podcasts, brainstorming ideas, writing, editing, and creating your own podcast. At the end of the week, you will have the opportunity to share your finished product with all of your friends and family!

In this camp we will sculpt clay and plaster Paper Mache, create lots of drawings and painting projects, and create other art projects with Mrs. Friederich to correlate with the theme of the week.
