We will make friendship bracelets to trade, sunglasses to party in, and we’ll spend the days voting on our favorite Taylor Swift songs. This week will end in an epic Taylor Swift dance party. Come make art inspired by several pop artists: Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Wayne Thiebaud, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, and Romero Britto. You will be using a variety of media such as paper, felt, air dry clay, and so much more. Let your creative side run wild!

In this camp we will sculpt clay and plaster Paper Mache, create lots of drawings and painting projects, and create other art projects with Mrs. Friederich to correlate with the theme of the week.

Calling all Picassos and Michelangelos! The CSA art teacher will allow your artist to take a tour through many different types of art media and creating. Some techniques that will be explored are painting, printmaking, and drawing. It will be a fun-filled environment in which students can arrive with a little or a lot of knowledge of the visual arts. Art projects will be adapted to meet the levels of students and are new each day. This is a great opportunity for your artist to build a portfolio, learn and improve skills, or just have fun creating something to hang on the kitchen refrigerator.

Our ARt-of-DIY Summer Camps give kids a hands-on, do-it-yourself experience! Over 5 days, daily sessions will allow students time to laern basic DIY skills and gain an understanding of the materials and techniques used at AR Workshop and beyond!

This new camp is 8 days of learning about and creating ceramic artwork with other girls in the fun environment of a high school art studio. Create your own cups and bowls using the potter’s wheel and a variety of hand-building techniques. We will go through all the processes of creating ceramic art: planning, construction, drying time, firing in the kiln, and finally glazing to complete your masterpieces.
