Crayola® World of Design Camp Think it! Draw it! Make it! Take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning about the ocean, the rainforest, Mars and a futuristic city, and more! Use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems in these different environments. Experiment with Crayola® products and many art techniques like sculpting, storyboarding, collage, and mixed media. Discover design careers like graphic design, universal design, urban design, and product design. All this, plus games, creative free play, and more! Note: This is a full-day program. All campers will participate in morning and afternoon programs.

Crayola® Artist’s Passport Camp Travel the World through Art! 1 Week Full-Day Camp for Kids Ages 5-12 Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure - explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to the Ivory Coast, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola® products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. Make different masterpieces each day, such as drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses, and more! Bring the unique creations home and build a globally-inspired art gallery.

Get ready to blast off into the world of rockets and discover the amazing science behind them. You'll become a rocket safety superstar by learning all about the model rocket safety code. You'll also uncover the secrets of how rockets soar through the sky, stay perfectly balanced, and return safely to Earth. Each day, you'll get to build a rocket from a sleek and awesome Mad Science rocket kit to a rocket made of toilet paper tubes – how cool is that? You'll also be part of a real launch team! Imagine working together with your new friends as altitude trackers, launch preparers, and launchers. Every day, you'll watch in awe as we send a rocket soaring high into the sky.

Great for children entering 2nd - 5th grade. Children entering K-1st grade will enjoy it as well with a little more help from fellow campers or instructors.

Note: Our camp includes everything your child needs during the camp. However, if you wish to continue your child’s interest in rocket launches at home, you will need to purchase a launch kit online or from a store.

Come and spend some time outdoors with New City teachers, Tommi and Marti Jo. We will spend most of our day outside exploring the grounds at New City School. We will play games, go on scavenger hunts, and learn about birds, plants, insects, and trees. There will be time for art exploration, music and movement, stories, as well as learning to be good friends and stewards of the earth. Let the wonder, curiosity, and creativity surrounding Nature begin! Campers can attend one or both weeks of this exciting Specialty Camp.
