At the Do Art Productions Comic Book Camp, explore the many different angles and tools of comics and self expression. Each day you will explore a different aspect of comics from paneling, to character, to plot. Learn about the different aspects of inspiration and expression. By the end, we will have created many of our own comics. Our goal is to show gratitude in being ourselves and to explore the creativity that can sprout from expressing this. Everyone will receive stickers, bookmarks, and a variety of other materials to further their comic creations. All art supplies included. No experience necessary.

In this class, you will get a chance to see your own cells, grow and look at bacteria from your mouth and hands, and see if we can find bacteria on surfaces in the building. Students will learn to use microscopes, learn about microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and other) and have a chance to use scientific equipment, including growing bacteria on solid media and making your own slides and looking at them under the microscope. (Ages 10-14) *Students must wear fully-enclosed shoes (no sandals or clogs) and pants that cover their whole leg (no crop pants or shorts).
