The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) and Auburn University Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures Department are offering Fish Camp—five days of intense fun and hands-on activities blended into a creative learning experience that provides the broadest possible exposure to natural resource careers with an emphasis on aquaculture, fisheries, and aquatic ecology. This camp involves a lot of field/outdoor activity and is a great opportunity to learn from Auburn's renowned fisheries, aquaculture, and aquatic ecology professionals.

This outdoor yoga opportunity is open to all Girl Scouts, no matter your experience level. The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, The Fisheries Learning Center and Dauphin Island Discovery Hall Programs have partnered and are offering Coastal Fisheries Camp. This camp will be held on the Dauphin Island Sea Lab campus at Dauphin Island, Alabama. Dauphin Island is a barrier island a short distance off the Alabama gulf coast, south of Mobile, AL.

Single-day camps for ages 7-14. 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Requirements: Previous riding experience is not required. Goals: Campers develop the ability to walk, trot and canter by the end of the week. Obtain basic horsemanship skills and learn how to groom, bathe and saddle a horse.

The Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine partners with the Auburn University Office of Professional and Continuing Education to offer Vet Camps each summer to youth interested in the veterinary medicine profession. Campers will learn about veterinary medicine first-hand in classrooms, laboratories, and outdoor facilities that include Auburn’s raptor, equine, dairy, beef, and swine units. Campers will learn about public health, food animals, wildlife, anatomy, imaging, and first aid, as well as gain valuable mentoring about veterinary science careers.

Campers who age out of our program always ask us to come back again. Well we’re finally doing it. Any former camper (or friend of the program) who wants to revisit their Water Monkey experience is welcome to sign up.
