Come have a great musical experience and bond with current CJA choir members! Students will spend the week honing their musical talents and working on a final performance for the last day of camp.

The SIUE Summer Band Camp provides students the opportunity to develop individual and ensemble instrumental performance skills, and exposure to varied musical activities, including performances, clinics, and sectionals led by SIUE faculty and students.

The SIUE Summer Jazz Camp is available for students of all experience levels entering grades 8-12. Campers will learn performance and improvisation techniques from faculty members in the SIUE jazz department.

The Percussion Institute is a "total percussion camp" for students in grades 6-12. Clinicians and artists from around the region/country come to teach and perform at this unique module. The Institute is modeled under a "total" format, meaning all major percussion performance areas (snare drum, mallets 2/4, timpani, drumset, world, marching percussion, etc) are addressed. Camp shirts will be available for purchase once at camp.

The 2025 SIUE Vocal Arts Camp is an opportunity for middle & high school singers (ages 12-18, grades 7-12) to share a summer full of exciting opportunities in a wide range of music genres and in different settings, including: Solo and ensemble singing, Exploring classical and contemporary repertoire, Annual talent show, and a Festival showcase concert in Dunham Hall Theatre

The Chaminade Band Camp is a fun way for students to expand their musical skills while performing with students with similar interests. Students will gain experience performing in a variety of settings: full band, small group and Jazz. In addition, students will listen to great music and will create their own musical composition.

The Midwest Flute Institute at SIUE serves the Greater St. Louis and Metro East Area, of over 2.8 million people including 40 different area high schools in both Illinois and Missouri. This camp is available for students entering grades 6-12 and college students. The primary focus consists of solo and chamber performances, workshops, lectures, master classes, and private lessons. The main objectives for our attendees is to provide an opportunity for intermediate through advanced flutists to learn more about the flute, improve technique, practice habits, make music with others in both flute ensembles and flute choirs, and leave feeling inspired to reach new musical goals.
