The first few days of the program are spent at HoneyRock where your team will get to know one another and practice basic outdoor technical skills. You will then drive to the Boundary Waters or to the Keweenaw Peninsula. The day begins with a morning devotion and quiet time followed by breakfast. Then, your team will pack up camp and get going for the day! After canoeing to the next campsite (you might see some wildlife along the way!) you’ll set up camp, relax, cook good food, and partake in community worship and discussion. You’ll see the night sky as you’ve never seen it before – maybe even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! The final day(s) will be spent back at HoneyRock for reflection and closure.
