Youth participants learn to prepare simple, healthy foods they can make for themselves and their family members. Each lesson includes kid-friendly handouts such as recipes and tips for how to use kitchen equipment safely.

These classes will cover topics ranging from technical skills like aperture and exposure to composition and editing. Some photography experience will help, but isn’t required. Aspiring young bakers will learn the fundamentals of baking—from proper measuring techniques and bake times to decorating like a pro. Our campers will explore different types of kitchen equipment, follow step-by-step recipes, and create delicious treats from scratch. But the best part? Everything they bake, they get to take home! Whether your son is a beginner or already loves to bake, they’ll gain confidence in the kitchen while having a blast with friends.

The Acting workshop, we will learn about the different visual languages we use with our face, emotions, and body posture. From these, we will try different improv scenarios at random, and see how easy it is to ‘get into ‘character’ and tap into our creative expression.

This class will learn to make their own pie/pastry crust, add pie filling and bake. Students will be able to taste their wonderful creations at the end of the class! (Subject to slight changes.) Ages 13-18. Students should bring a can of their favorite pie filling. NO FLIP FLOPS! Students, please wear tennis shoes.

As we get older, we all need to learn the skills that we will use as grown ups. Cooking, cleaning, organizing, and self care are all executive skills we need to establish. In home ec camp, you can learn how to prep and cook and practice grooming saiis suchias learning simple hair styles. Learn to use an iron to iron on patches and create embroidery patterns for pillow cases. We will create a recipe book for cookies, cakes, and many other dishes that we will cook.

Celebrate the flavors of each season in this hands-on, No-Bake Baking Camp designed for teens! Each day, we’ll create a delicious, no-bake dessert inspired by spring, summer, fall, and winter, using seasonal ingredients and flavors. Learn to make creative garnishes with chocolate, sugar, fondant, and fruit. Teens will learn essential baking techniques such as layering, decorating, and flavor pairing—all without using an oven! Perfect for aspiring bakers who love to get creative in the kitchen!
