Cartooning (Online)

We at SVA Cartooning are excited to share our summer Pre-College curriculum, newly customized for the 2021 online learning experience. This is an intensive "comics boot camp" for students of all levels of experience. The only prerequisite is that you enjoy drawing! All styles are welcome. You will bring the seed of an original story idea, and we will provide three weeks of structure and support for growing that seed into a complete comic book story! Additionally, you will design a color cover for your comic book and will print an edition of copies to trade with your new SVA comics friends. By the end of the course you will be proud to have created a meaningful comic that tells your story.
