Learn to code & build a robot that interacts with its environment Do you want to learn practical programming and electronics skills? Are you curious about robotics but haven't yet had the opportunity to explore this field? This intensive two-week robotics course is designed for absolute beginners. You'll learn basic programming in the Arduino IDE (Interactive Development Environment) and engage in hands-on hardware and electronic lessons, including interacting with sensors, motors, and LEDs. You'll then use what you've learned throughout the programming and hardware sessions to build a motorized robot with navigation abilities and compete in a fun obstacle course challenge. Throughout the program, you'll hear from guest speakers who'll discuss cutting-edge research and concepts in robotics. And at the end of the course, you'll be able to take your robot home with you. There are no prerequisites for this program. You do not need to know anything about robotics, programming, or electronics before attending. Everyone is welcome!
