June 14 – 19, 2020. Entering Grades 9-12. This program explores careers in natural resources enabling campers to work closely with federal and state fisheries and wildlife biologists, wild land managers, park rangers, and natural resource interpreters. The campers will be in residence at LSSU’s Hunt Creek Field Station, a 3,000 acre natural laboratory near Gaylord, Michigan. Activities will include hands-on exploration of a day in the life of real-world natural resources career professionals, such as habitat assessment, species inventory, soil and water quality, assessment of sustainable human uses of the resources base. $850; campers will be staying at the LSSU Hunt Creek Field Station near Gaylord, Michigan.
