Center for Talent Development (CTD) Equinox Session 2 - Algebra II & Trigonometry Honors

PREREQUISITE: Algebra I. Algebra II & Trigonometry Honors covers systems, equations, polynomial arithmetic, complex numbers, solutions of quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, sequences, series, graphs of polynomial functions, conic sections, and concepts in trigonometry, including trigonometric identities. Algebra II & Trigonometry Honors is a full-year course in an accelerated format. Students enrolling in Equinox must meet the minimum test score requirements as listed in the course descriptions. The preferred documentation is an above-grade-level test score (ACT® or SAT® test taken in grades 7 through 9) taken within 2 years of application. Students who do not have above-level test scores, but do have ACT®, SAT®, PreACT, or PSAT/NMSQT scores from tests taken in the 10th or 11th grade year may also apply as long as the scores meet the stated on-level requirement for the desired course. Students who do not have test scores to submit as part of their application, or whose scores do not meet the minimum requirement may still apply to the Equinox program with an Admission Portfolio application, which includes: copy of test scores if available, teacher recommendation, and transcript. Scholarships and need-based financial aid are available with the completion of an additional financial aid application, due 4/15/18. After 5/14/18, cost of tuition increases.
