KidSpirit Teen Leader Program: Teens as Teachers

Partner with a mentor to learn all about leading a classroom! Build relationships with peers and campers, practice leadership skills, and experience the world of education in a hands-on way. The Teen Leader program provides teens, grades 8-12, with experiences and opportunities to be creatively challenged while facilitating personal, professional and social development. Teen Leaders will be able to work in a dynamic and exciting atmosphere in order to develop leadership, professional and interpersonal skills through personalized mentorship from our highly trained staff and hands-on experience working with our campers ages 5-12. During their time on campus, Teen Leaders attend leadership seminars to assist them in professional development. These seminars will leave Teen Leaders with a tool box full of skills such as resumé building, effective communication, and work place flexibility. Teen Leaders will get to put these tools to use each day in our classes, assiting both Staff and Campers in various activities. Teens as Teachers is offered during SESSION 1 ONLY. No camp on June 17. Due to snow days, Session 1 will begin on Tuesday, June 18. Half-day camp costs $158, and Full-day camp costs $285.
