Experience the excitement of forensic science and crime scene investigation with this highly interactive and timely camp. Discover how to scour a crime scene and look for clues just like your favorite detectives and forensic scientists on Law and Order and Criminal Minds. This camp will feature hands-on, mock crime scene exploration coupled with forensic science fundamentals to give promising young sleuths a chance to live and learn like a real crime scene analyst! Students will stay in a residence hall on the FHSU campus with camp staff available day and night to assist campers. Camp staff will provide various evening activities which may include the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, MakerSpace, movie night, game night, etc. Priority application deadline: April 1. Final deadline: May 1. There is a $100 registration fee (for residents of Kansas, $400 fee for non-residents) per camp which includes room and board, camp supplies, and camp t-shirt. Each camp is limited to 30 students, and priority will be on a first come, first serve basis, maximum of two camps per student.
