Minecraft Coding: Rule the World

Kids will learn how to code with a block-based visual programming language inside MinecraftEdu using if-then and while-do statements, variables, and loops. With these tools, they'll automate processes inside the game, such as farming and mining. Redstone will be used to create circuits and switches to control objects. Kids will customize their tools and weapons to rule the world! Learn to create video games, produce stop-motion animation movies, code computer programs, modify mods in Minecraft, conduct science experiements, and build/program LEGO robots in a week-long day camp at Albion College! Full and half day programs for ages 7-14 with a technology ratio of 1:1 student-to-computer. Register soon, class size is limited!
