This autonomous-only programming class is for students who crave more time to develop fantastic autonomous programs for their robots. Participants take a functional FRC robot and write autonomous programs for game challenges using sensors, a camera, PID Loops and vision tape. Students may use the programming language of their choice and the camp includes several 15-second competitions and a special 60-second challenge at the conclusion of the camp. Some FRC programming skills are required. Logistics: All residential camps are held at the Kettering University FIRST Robotic Community Center. All residential campers will be housed in the Kettering University Francis Wilson Thompson Residence Hall. Resident advisors will supervise all residential campers. Residential campers are NOT allowed to leave campus (other than on field trips) until the end of the camp. All costs include room and board (three meals a day). Parent visits MUST be coordinated through the program director 24 hours in advance.
