Piano Academy

In this course, students will be part of an intensive four day experience hosted by the piano faculty of Augustana College. They will receive one on one instruction in music theory, keyboard history, and keyboard technology. In addition, students will take part in daily lessons and practice. The academy will conclude with a participants’ recital, which will be open to the public. Students should bring at least two pieces of music with them: one piece they have completed or performed (memorization is optional) and one or two pieces they are in the process of learning.
