In the Pre-College Program, you will develop your artistic vision and strengthen both your technical skills and your critical thinking. You’ll take three core courses, participate in field trips, and display your work in a final exhibition. And throughout the program, you’ll develop an inside perspective on a career in the arts.
When you successfully complete the Pre-College Program, you will receive one general education elective course credit (the equivalent of three credit-hours at most colleges and universities). Your grade will be based on quizzes, projects, and writing assignments.
Application process includes an online application, $35 application fee, images of 5-10 original works of art, essay, and letter of recommendation. Need based scholarships are available with the completion of an additional scholarship application and submission of household W-2 form or documentation of eligibility for free or reduced lunch program from a school official, due 3/1/2018.
