Voyageur (Session 2)

You'll have the same great sights and experiences of the Boundary Waters with the addition of learning and applying wilderness fishing techniques and seeking that walleye, monster pike, or smallmouth bass! If you love to fish (or want to learn!) this trip is for you. Spend two weeks canoeing and fishing in the beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe area with friends. The few days are spent in camp learning leadership development, outdoor technical skills, adventure challenge skills and team development skills. The majority of the program will be spent in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area on an extended wilderness canoeing expedition. The last days will be spent back at camp for reflection and closure. Through daily reflection time, group devotions, Bible studies and disciplined reflection, the Voyageurs will seek to understand what it looks like to live a life that is yoked to Jesus. This training in walking by faith on a wilderness expedition practically demonstrates God's provision for us. This time set aside to be with God in Creation offers the ideal setting to practice faith and endurance through community. Our goal is that campers will emerge from this program better equipped to share God's love and deepen their personal relationship with him. Scholarship applications are available; however, in order to receive a scholarship award, a camper must first be registered for one of our summer camper programs. Registering a child for camp requires payment of the $150 deposit per child. Needs-based scholarship applications must be submitted by April 15th.
