Chemistry (kem-iss-tree): The study of chemicals and chemical reactions. More importantly, you will learn how to make things change color, smoke, and then blow up. . . useful life skills. You are cordially invited to poke, prod, pour, postulate, and generally oooh and aaah!! Participants will make silly putty, foam, slime, and coagulate polystyrene. This is just what it sounds like, only you, the chemist, make it from scratch using the materials in class. You will get the “How Come, Huh?”—translation, “explanation”, so that you can wow your friends and family with your new knowledge.
