Learn to look at the body from a mechanical engineering perspective, characterizing the mechanical properties of the human body. Topics may include design for safety, mobility, biomimetic design, and the human-technology interface. Activities may include projects, tours and field trips, demonstrations, and/or experimental testing. Research in the ME-EM department at Michigan Tech in this area will be highlighted.
