Giselle

A classic story of love, joy, betrayal, and the ghostly wilis. Giselle is a beautiful girl with a weak heart who loves to dance. A local boy, Hilaron has fallen in love with her. Disaster comes to the village when Count Albrecht disguises himself as a peasant to court Giselle. Eventually Giselle and the other villagers discover that not only is Albrecht not a peasant and he is already engaged to Bathilde! Despite her mother’s warnings, Giselle grows crazed from the betrayal and dances herself to death. Now Giselle has become one of the ghostly wilis. The Wilis Queen, Myrtha, leads the wilis to seek revenge on the men who betrayed them. But Giselle still loves Albrecht. Will she be able to save him from the wilis?
