Wakanda & Me, Ages 6-7

We "travel" to an advanced and hidden land of Wakanda and use famous characters, such as T'Challa, Shuri, and Nakia, as inspiration to create superheroes, supervillains, and secret lands. We try our hand at playing the djembe and learn West African dance steps and about African culture. We even create our own gadgets and make believe tech gear. We combine our ideas to create a final story and magical land of our own. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.
