Summer College: Physics of Light (Commuter)

Our journey together will begin with image formation using lenses and mirrors, continue with phenomena that reveal the wave nature of light, and conclude with evidence of the particle (photon) nature of light. Our study of each topic will include group-based problem-solving to understand the theoretical underpinnings and hands-on laboratory activities to see the physics in action! Guest speakers and a field trip will be incorporated into the course, as available.
