PROMYS is a six-week summer program in mathematics for strongly motivated high school students who are carefully selected from across the U.S. and around the world. Founded in 1989, PROMYS is a residential program held on the campus of Boston University with approximately 80 high school students and 25 undergraduate counselors.
We anticipate that PROMYS will run in person in 2022. We do not have plans for a hybrid program at this time. At this point, we cannot know if international students will be able to travel to the US and participate, but we currently intend to accept international applications.
All participants will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to comply with testing protocols while at Boston University. More details on these requirements will be provided to accepted students in May.
